MPA and MPP are the first two programs to be “Triple Crown” accredited globally in the field of Public Affairs Education. The European Association for Public Administration Accreditation (EAPAA) on August 29 awarded full accreditation to The School of Global Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) Master of Public Administration (MPA) and the Master of Public Policy (MPP) programs. This completes the two programs “Triple Crown”. The MPA and MPP had already received full accreditation from the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs and Administration (NASPAA) in July 2015 and from the International Commission on the Accreditation of Public Administration Education and Training (ICAPA) in July 2017.
EAPAA, ICAPA and NASPAA accreditations uniquely combine a fusion of International and European standards of public service education. This singular recognition of both AUC’s MPA and MPP by all three agencies is a testimony to the stellar quality education at American University in Cairo (AUC), as well as the pioneering achievement of these two programs in the MENA region at par with the comparable programs in US, European and other international universities.
