As a JRMC student, I gained the practical and theoretical skills that equipped me for my graduate studies. The faculty’s guidance and support helped me become a well-rounded journalist. My time at The Caravan especially provided me with a real-life newsroom experience that taught me the ins and outs of the industry and gave me an edge in the job market. It’s something that still comes up in conversations with editors and recruiters to this day.
