Takeda Training Program - Cohort II
As part of its ongoing partnership with Takeda, the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy Executive Education at The American University in Cairo has launched a training program aimed at professionals working in the General Authority of Health Insurance and titled "Health Policies and AI Applications in Healthcare Resources Allocation."
The program brings together 26 pharmacists from the General Authority of Health Insurance and aims to strengthen their capabilities in resource allocation and evidence-based health policymaking.
The training covers key topics, including public policymaking in the health sector, policy analysis, public-private partnership, budget planning, monitoring and evaluation, health data analysis and the application of artificial intelligence in resource allocation. In doing so, it relies on a multifaceted set of training mechanisms, including interactive sessions, real case studies and practical exercises to help participants apply what they learn in their daily work.
The program reflects The American University in Cairo School of Global Affairs and Public Policy Executive Education's continued commitment to delivering high-quality training programs that address emerging healthcare priorities and support data-driven, informed decision-making in the healthcare sector, in partnership with the pertinent stakeholders in the Egyptian government.
