Professor Laila El Baradei awarded by the American Society of Public Administration
Laila El Baradei, Professor of Public Administration, has been selected as the 2024 recipient of the International Public Administration Award by the American Society of Public Administration (ASPA).
El Baradei will be receiving the award in person during ASPA's 2024 Annual Conference taking place April 12-16 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
As mentioned on ASPA's website: "The International Public Administration Award was created to highlight individuals and organizations that contribute to the field of public administration internationally. The award is given to an individual who holds citizenship in a nation other than the United States; lives and works primarily in a nation other than the United States; and contributes significantly to the field of public administration as a scholar, practitioner, or both - as demonstrated by publications, awards, honors and testimony by the recipient's colleagues and beneficiaries of the recipient's work".
Professor El Baradei is the first Egyptian and the first Arab to receive this award.
