Launch of Women Economic Empowerment (WEE) for Inclusive and Sustainable Growth Training for Employment (TFE) Phase II
The launch of the second phase of the Women's Economic Empowerment Program in Egypt, Rabeha "Training for Employment".
The program was inaugurated on February 28th, 2024, in the presence of prominent figures, including Ehab Abdel Rahman, Provost of the American University in Cairo, Noha El-Mikawy, Dean of the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy and Christine Arab, UN Women Representative in Cairo. In addition, Nancy Odeh, Head of Cooperation at the Embassy of Canada in Egypt, and on behalf of Maya Morsy, President of the National Council for Women, May Mahmoud, Director of the Women's Business Development Center at the National Council for Women.
The results of the first phase evaluation of the program were presented excellently by Nihal Sharara, Author & Gender and sustainability Adviser. Mohamed Fahmy Menza, Senior Director, GAPP Executive Education, and Nora Rafea, Programme Specialist at UN Women in Egypt, provided necessary recommendations for the second phase of the program.
