An Introduction to Health Informatics and Its Applications in the Field of Health Policymaking
AUC GAPP Executive Education held a customized training program for Takeda with the theme “An Introduction to Health Informatics and Its Applications in the Field of Health Policymaking”.
The program brings together 21 governmental pharmacists from the Ministry of Health and aims to strengthen their skills in health informatics and evidence-based health policymaking.
The training covers key topics including public policymaking in the health sector, policy analysis and formulation, health budget planning, monitoring and evaluation, electronic health records, health data analysis, the application of artificial intelligence in policymaking, data governance, data privacy and national digital health strategies. Interactive sessions, real case studies and practical exercises took place to help participants apply what they learn in their daily work.
The program opened with welcoming remarks by Mohamed Fahmy Menza, senior director of GAPP Executive Education, who highlighted the importance of building practical skills in health informatics and reaffirmed GAPP Executive Education’s commitment to delivering quality training programs that meet the real needs of the Egyptian government in the field of healthcare.
