Green Finance Summit 2026

April 27, 2026

The summit brought together researchers, practitioners, policymakers and civil society voices to deepen public understanding of climate finance and climate action in the Arab region. It connected global climate finance frameworks with regional realities, presented recent research and fostered informed dialogue on pathways toward more effective, equitable and context-responsive climate action in the MENA region.

Menza stated, “We are delighted with the outcome of our long-standing partnership with FES and Eco-Dahab which culminated in this educational series launched on the day and made available as open-access resources through AUC’s website and social media platforms.”

Attended by Noha El-Mikawy, dean of the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, and Mohamed Fahmy Menza, senior director of GAPP Executive Education, both of whom led the discussions and provided insights related to the summit’s main themes, the day started with the launch of the Climate Philanthropy Pre-Mapping Report issued by AFF and the launch of the “Financing Our Planet” video series, developed in collaboration between GAPP Executive Education and FES.
