Exciting dialogues on the final day of the Leading Change in Dynamic Organizations Program
AUC GAPP Executive Education hosted a series of engaging and insightful project discussions as part of the 'Leading Change in Dynamic Organizations Program' (Cohort 4).
The event witnessed five group presentations by 35 participants, representing various branches of the Egyptian Judiciary and the Ministry of Justice and was the final iteration of the 'Leading Change in Dynamic Organizations Program', which is implemented by GAPP Executive Education and the School of Business Executive Education and supported by the Ministry of Planning's National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD).
This multidisciplinary program is composed of seven main modules:
1- Creating Public Service Value.
2- Gender Mainstreaming and Inclusion.
3- Creating Policy Briefs.
4- Revenue Mobilization and Regulatory Compliance.
5- Public Policy Advocacy and Communication.
6- Social Accountability and Citizen Engagement.
7- Branding your message.
The presentations showcased the policy papers that the respective groups have developed throughout the training modules and culminated their work in the 'Creating Policy Brief' module, whereby they were trained and coached by Noura Wahby, assistant professor of Public Policy at GAPP. All the groups received feedback and took part in constructive discussions led by the panel, which included the pertinent leaders and experts from GAPP:
- Noha El-Mikawy, dean of the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy and professor of practice in the Public Policy and Administration Department.
- Leila Mustafa ElBaradei, professor of Public Administration and chair of the Public Policy and Administration department.
- Mohamed Fahmy Menza, senior director, GAPP Executive Education.
Marwa Negem, manager of Exec Education grants and government programs, Business Solutions, Business Executive Education.
The projects covered a range of critical and contemporary topics, including:
1- Institutional Memory of the Egyptian Judicial System.
2- Transforming Public Employee Performance Assessment from a Tool of Destruction to a Construction Tool.
3- Personal Data Protection in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.
4- Challenges of Digital Transformation.
5- Use of Artificial Intelligence in Judicial Data Analysis.
The event provided a platform for innovative ideas and collaborative solutions, and reflected the massive potential within Egyptian state institutions for driving positive change and fostering leadership.
