Cooperation between GAPP and the Institute for Diplomatic Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt

As part of the ongoing cooperation between the Institute for Diplomatic Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt and the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, the Institute held a summer workshop program for a group of 38 AUC students from June 11-13, 2023. 

The workshop focused on the development of diplomatic skills and informing the participants of the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and of the requirements to apply for the entrance exams of the Ministry. It was geared towards those students who are interested in diplomacy and in applying to serve as diplomats in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt.  

The students came from several departments, such as PPAD, Economics, Law, Political Science, and MEST.   

Cooperation between GAPP and the Diplomatic Institute is led by the Professor of Practice and Director of the MGA program in PPAD, Aly Erfan.
