AMEPPA Eighth global Conference

 

The Eighth Global Conference on the Public Policy and Administration in the Global South: Governance, Policy Science, and Economic Development held at The American University in Cairo (AUC) on November 10-11. Professor B. Guy Peters of the University of Pittsburgh and Professor Per Lægreid of the University of Bergen delivered keynote speeches. The conference brought together academics, practitioners, and graduate students from universities and research organizations around the world, including Egypt, the United States, United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Tunisia, Canada, Norway, Taiwan, Lebanon, Qatar, Zambia, Bangladesh and many more to discuss how to improve the overall human condition in the developing and transitional countries. The conference was organized by the AUC's School of Global Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) and the Association of Middle Eastern Public Policy and Administration (AMEPPA). GAPP Associate Dean Shahjahan Bhuiyan chaired the conference.
