In collaboration with the Transnational Institute and Siyada network, the Pathways project hosted the event featuring the launch of the Arabic translation of the ICAS book series.
Along with the launch of the Pathways anthology: Agricultural Cooperatives in the Age of Neoliberalism, co-edited by Mohamed Gamal, Pathways research officer, and Saker El Nour, renowned agrarian scholar. The day featured two robust panels. The first panel included contributions from Jun Borras, ICAS book series editor, and Jan Douwe Van Der Ploeg, book author. It was moderated by Abeer Abazeid and featured Amr Khairy as discussant. The second panel included Mohamed Gamal, book co-editor, and book contributors Ahmed Heniti (online), Oussama Chaabouni and Mohamed Ramadan. It featured Mohamed Abd El Hakeem as discussant.
