CMRS regularly publishes its research findings as part of the series Cairo Studies on Migration and Refugees. The series was developed in 2012 to present, with a total of fifteen studies published. Policy briefs are also produced on specific policy issues. Earlier research findings can be found at CMRS Special Collection at the AUC library
CMRS’ research objective is linked to its outreach and training objectives. Most of the center’ research findings are disseminated in international and local conferences and workshops. The findings of most of the research projects are also usually disseminated to the target audience through raising campaigns and/or training sessions.
CMRS’ research objective is also linked to its Academic Program. Students enrolled in the MA or Diploma Program are welcomed to apply to CMRS to assist with the research projects of the center. Moreover, persons who are currently pursuing their PhD or interested in carrying out a specific research project as part of their studies or postdoctoral work in the area of migration or refugees can be affiliated with CMRS through AUC Scholars without Stipend program. Researchers interested in such affiliation should submit a letter of intent and proposal to the director of CMRS.
