The Middle East Studies Program (MESP) in collaboration with the Arab Political Science Network (APSN) and the Center for Economic, Legal, and Social Studies and Documentation (CEDEJ) held a two-day research workshop on “Politics and War in the Middle East and North Africa”.

The workshop brought together local and international researchers tackling the questions of war and its consequences from different interdisciplinary angles, including ethical and epistemological questions, gender, environment, state and non-state actors and media and propaganda.

The workshop was held on June 25 and 26, 2025, at the Oriental Hall in AUC’s Tahrir Square campus.
