AUC GAPP Executive Education Joins Techne Summit 2026: Connecting Innovation and Leadership
Mohamed Fahmy Menza, Senior Director of AUC GAPP Executive Education, participated as a panelist at Techne Summit Alexandria 2026, where he joined a thematic discussion on how formal education can better meet the changing needs of the technology job market.
Drawing on GAPP Executive Education experiences, Menza shared insights on how universities can adapt professional development programs to prepare graduates for new technologies and the ever-changing needs of the job market. His contribution emphasized the role of executive education in strengthening links between universities and industry and supporting innovation and workforce development; in doing so he whet the appetite of the attendees by announcing GAPP Executive Education's prime digital course, set to be offered in Spring 2027 as a fully accessible self-paced bundle of modules aimed at females seeking employment opportunities in Egypt and the region.
In addition to the panel, the highlight was also a set of one-on-one and group discussions that Menza held with a plethora of young professionals and graduates at the Summit, whereby he learned about the challenges faced by Egypt's youthful labor force today and provided reflections on the questions and issues raised by the young participants.
Techne Summit 2026 brought together entrepreneurs, investors, technology leaders, and innovators in Cairo on September 26–27 and in Alexandria from October 3–5. The Summit welcomed more than 55,000 attendees from over 70 countries and featured more than 450 speakers and 150 investors.
