AUC GAPP Executive Education Completes STOT Workshop in Fayoum
GAPP Executive Education in the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at The American University in Cairo successfully concluded the Training of Trainers for Sustainability workshop in Fayoum on Thursday, April 23, 2026. The workshop was delivered as part of the Women's Economic Empowerment – Training for Employment: Rabeha program.
The workshop aimed to strengthen sustainability by equipping participants with the knowledge and skills needed to transfer learning and ensure long-term impact within their communities.
A total of 12 trainees from Fayoum successfully completed the program, marking an important step toward building a network of qualified trainers who can further expand the reach of the initiative.
The closing ceremony was attended by Mohamed Fahmy Menza, senior director of Executive Education in the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, alongside Nora Rafea, program specialist at UN Women Egypt, who joined remotely via Zoom.
This initiative is implemented as part of a collaborative effort between UN Women Egypt and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization Egypt, in partnership with the National Council for Women and the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, and is supported by the Government of Canada through the Embassy of Canada to Egypt.
