AUCTV Covers COP27 Activities

The American University in Cairo's (AUC) TV team participated in COP-27 through comprehensive media coverage of the activities in the Green Zone and the AUC Pavilion. Ranging from coverage of the University's presentations and contributions to a sustainable environment and up to conducting interviews with prominent figures within the AUC community. Under the supervision of Hussein Amin, director of the Kamal Adham center, the team led by Rania Aboulwafa, assistant director of operations and engineering services, included AUC TV's staff members Mohamed Kamal and Hussein Battah. As well as TVDJ graduate students Gehad Abdelrazek and Jayda Shoukry and graduate teaching assistant Hagar Adss.

A special coverage took place for AUC’s activities in the AUC Pavilion, where the AUC TV team filmed some of the activities and the presentations by the AUC community. In addition to the coverage, AUC TV conducted a diverse array of interviews, including an in-depth sit-down with Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, Hani Sewilam and interviewed AUC’s leadership, including AUC President Ahmad Dallal, AUC Provost Ehab Abdel-Rahman, Dean of Graduate Studies Adham Ramadan, and University Architect, Khaled Tarabieh. Various interviews also took place, with members of AUC faculty and students participating to give more insights into their projects. 

AUC TV’s coverage was not limited to AUC’s activities, but it went further to cover the general activities of different institutions in the Green Zone.
